One of my favourite things about working with energy, the elements, nature, remedies, the wisdom of the body and connecting to the heart is that the signs and symbols of change show up in the most wonderful of ways.

Change is the only certain thing in our lives.

So much of life is out of our hands and out of our control, as much as we try with all our might at times for this to not be the case.

The golden tapestry of life.

The changes that lead to the next chapter.

I am learning to flow with change more these days.

Everything is so temporary and the ability to attach to any of it is often our greatest cause of suffering.

We want things to stay the same.

We want people we love to always be close.

We want life to be so good.

Of course we do.

But change is the course of our life and the twists and turns, well they are our greatest teachers and often lead us to the most beautiful places, if we let it.

With every ending comes the opportunity for a new beginning.

This morning as I woke up, there was a crow outside my window — loud, clear, precise. Delivering a message to me that change is most certainly here and to take my hands off the wheel and let life unfold and lead the way forward.

Okay great, message received, thank you Crow, but seriously?

This is another moment, another opportunity to surrender. To make some room for grace to enter. To be okay to go with the flow. To Trust. To Surrender… again…

Sometimes we force and push so hard that we are blocking the opportunities that are circling us just waiting for some room to land in our lives.

Sometimes it is divine timing at play.

Sometimes there is still more to unravel and play out.

And sometimes it all just lands so perfectly, like it was divinely orchastrated and how all the pieces fit together so beautifully is a work of art.

Often we are fighting so hard to keep the limitations and the life we currently have that we are blocking the blessings and the life that wants to find us.

Let go we must.

Do what we need to do today and then hand the rest over.

Step into surrender, let trust lead the way.

So hard somedays, most necessary on those ones.

The signs are always supporting us — the crow, the winds of change blowing strong, the random meeting, the unexpected challenge, the way the river flows and how the ocean waves crash to the shore. Change is the only certain thing.

So thank you to the Crow for your message of change, I look forward to seeing what comes next.
