—change in perspective

Our greatest teachers in this life are the ones who irritate us the most for they show us exactly where the work is!

Life is always happening for me, not to me — I learn my lesson and I take back my power."

—Shari Ingleton

Blame is such a low vibration, yet it happens so easily. It is easy to blame someone else, the government etc.

It is easier to focus on what they did wrong. This can be a really hard one to accept but the sooner we accept it, the sooner we can learn the lesson.

If we don’t learn the lesson, it comes back around again in another form in our lives and then we experience more pain.

“What is this trying to teach me about myself?”

In the moment of changing our perspective from believing life is happening to us and instead asking “what am I meant to learn from this?” instead, we call back our power. Freedom comes from closure, from learning the lesson, nothing external of us needs to change for us to be free.

if there is something that is frustrating, challenging or triggering you right now, take a breath.

Open your heart to learning the lesson. I have a list of questions I sit with, journal on and answer. It really helps to lesson the charge and let the energy flow again.

  • What feelings are coming up when I think of them or are around them?

  • Is there anything I am doing or avoiding to contribute to this dynamic?

  • If this person was in my life to help me grow, what is the lesson?

  • What about this all bothers me the most?

I have always said with life’s challenges we always have a choice — we get to be better or we can be bitter, I always have chosen the higher ground and chose to do the inner work and be better.

We get to choose to do the work, learn the lesson which alchemises and transforms us in ways that never fail to amaze me in the most wonderful of ways.

Be grateful for the challenges they become our biggest catalyst for growth and change.

With infinite love and gratitude,
